Construction on the new Piedmont Access to Health Services facility — known as PATHS — is coming to an end. Final touches inside the new PATHS facility are being completed by local contractor J.E. Burton Construction Co. in preparation for March 4 when PATHS personnel from the Seymour Drive location will be moving into the new medical facility located on 5.4 acres at the J. Aubrey Houghton Industrial Park off Hamilton Boulevard. This new community health center is nonprofit and provides care for everyone. All insurances are accepted. A sliding scale discount is possible for those who qualify. The new facility will offer a drive-thru pharmacy. It’s not clear when it will open to the public.
